New truck owner (F-150 XL, 2017) in Colorado here. Looking to learn and properly maintain this new category of vehicle for me.

My last truck was a Chevy S-10 4 banger about 20 years ago and I didn’t like it very much. I learned after I sold it why - not enough power.

So, coming back and it’s like night and day! Help this young (at heart) padawan. Lol

Welcome aboard from NJ. Sounds like a nice truck. Since I am the first to respond, I will be the first to ask you to please post up some pictures. We are very visual around here. I have to give you credit; 20 years is a long time to keep something that you don't like very much!

For clarity, I sold the S-10 after only about 2 years so it’s been 18 years since I’ve owned a truck... :)

Thank you for setting me straight. I miss-read your post. There is a big difference between owning something for 20 years and owning it for 2 years 20 years ago. Take my advice and never work shifts. I have no circadian rhythm left and entering pre-senility!, LOL
Thanks for posting the pics, very nice truck!
