ok I have 2 old Jeep Trucks, both are former farm trucks and are not perfect by any means. I got them as projects, but recently my daily driver blew its engine, so now I’m thinking it’s time to let the projects go to get a new daily driver, especially since my wife and I are moving to a larger city in a few months. I’d appreciate any pricing tips (I’ve looked them both up online and the prices are all over the damn place), I’d like the opinion of, is trying to trade them for a daily driver is just a day dream, or you think it could be fairly possible to trade all for 1.
The goal is to trade for either a Jeep Wrangler, or an A body Mopar, or a diesel Dodge Ram. I know big dreams!
1973 Jeep J-4000 4X4, 360 4-Barrel Engine, Dana 44 Front and Rear Axels, 4 Speed Manual Transmission. This truck needs a good amount to be 100% complete again. I’ve been running on a fuel cell, and recently it quit firing up. The engine turns over, but I don’t seem to be gettting any spark.
1988 Jeep Comanche 2WD, 4cyl Engine, 4 Speed Manual Transmission. This truck runs and drives, the driver floor board is shot and the heater doesn’t work. However this truck comes with a shell of a 1999 Jeep Cherokee for body parts! This means you can use the floor pan from the SUV so the truck can use buckets instead of a bench seat. I will also include the entire dash and everything needed to give the old truck the more modern heating and air system, the ac system is less than year old and was only used for 3 months.
