1986 s-15 auto with 16 bolt pan and seems to be electric. bad radiator caused mix of water and fluid. need to drain converter. does it have the drain plug? if not how to drain?

not positive but best guess----pull tranny and converter. you have a lot of flushing to do also.

I am going to tell you to take it to a tranny shop and have them take it apart and clean it out.

converter

pull the tranny and pull off the converter theres no drain so u will have to flip it over and shake it till you get all the fliud out

You will have to leave it upside down for about three days. Everyday pick it up and swirl it around. That's why the first post about letting a tranny shop do it.
