Right now I’m doing all the nit noid fixes on the truck. I’m meeting a local guy the specializes in doing this conversion. I’ve seen his work. He does both the mechanical and the electronic aspects of the conversion

Don't they have stand alone controllers (computer) so you don't need to have all the things the modern vehicles use?

The motors this particular guy uses comes with the computer from the donor cars. He has the ability to interface with gauges, fuel sender etc. He only uses motors with less than 60k miles. Older motors get an overhaul. He also flashes the computer to allow for camshaft etc.
