I've been using Lucas Oil fuel treatment for 10+ years,
every other fill up or so
I add an ounce or 2 to a tank/fill-up
a little less then the recommended amount & it seems to work fine...
Lucas fuel treatments seems to work well too...
It's cheap insurance, haven't had any fuel related issues,
like carbon build up, clogged injectors etc. in any of my cars/trucks
I use to use Problends fuel additive stuff for a long time,
it was really nasty, when you did the 1st treatment especially,
really cleaned out everything, seemed really harsh thou,
lots of stuff came out the exhaust, don't think it'd be good with
catalytic converters either...
But it really worked thou....
I've tried Z-Max stuff too, haven't tore that engine down yet,
we'll see if it does what they claim it does.... It was a gift
