The front seal on my Dakota's compressor leaks. The compressor cycles on and off so I know it's low on freon. I have done this before and I used PAG 46 oil and 134a. Who knows what oil I should use and how much? I have a new compressor and drier on the way and will flush the lines and convert it to 134a.

i would personally use ester oil. i think ford is now getting away from pag oil. i have had ester oil in my 90 with 134 for at least 8 years with no problems.
