I have a 2004 Silverado that the ac on the drivers side will change on its own to heat while going down the road . Passenger still on ac . The only way I can get it to change back to ac is to shut off ignition and restart 20150807_172809.jpg truck then it changes back on its own . Anyone know why or the fix for this problem?

I don't know the answer , but my 02 olds was doing that while still in the 3 year warranty , the dealer worked on it all day back then , and fixed it. then while working on it last year , I didn't plug in a vacuum line and the whole ac / hv system went wacky , ac coming out the heat vents on the floor ect. the system used vacuum to switch the vents from floor , defrost , ac ect.

If you didn't get it fixed start with the blend door motor, one for each side.
