440 oil pressure gauge hookup

wanting to install a mechanical gauge in addition to the stock gauge on my 84 with my 440 swap, there is pipe plug on the passengers side of the block at the rear behind the intake , right next to the port for the factory gauge, can i use this port with a pipe adapter for the mechanical gauge , would look cleaner than a brass adapter off of the drivers side port

If I remember right , That's how I've got my Warlock set up as well and I run both gauges .

Use a steel or copper line the plastic usually breaks at the worst times!
