440 block number

i just purchased this truck and the guy told me it was a 440 out of a 69 charger but I've looked at the number on the block and I don't think he was right can anyone tell me what it is out of the number I found on the block is
3698830

to the driverside of the dist is a machine pad , it will have year n size stamped on it . also should have 440- something on the side of the block .

I looked again and on the side of the block it has 36988304409
And on the plate all I can read is
J440 it has a cross and 12132

Should also have a cast date on the block in front of the starter.

73 440, cross means .001 inch undersize crank.

67 440 is 'c' , 68 440 is 'd' , 69 440 is 'e' ,
70 440 is 'f' , 71 440 is 'g' , 72 is 'h' , 73 440 is 'j' .
