1994 dodge ram 2500 engine rebuild

Hi

I have a 1994 Dodge Ram 2500,

The motor is weak and I would love to rebuild the engine or even put a 440 in it.

Whats the best way to get the most power out of the truck

What motor do you have in it now ? I assume since it's a 2500 it's a 5.9 gas motor ? Automatic or stick ?

depends on what kind of power you want out of it. a 360 can produce alot of power for street use/hotrodding. if you want all out stupid go 440 torque is all there and pretty good on the pulling side. both are going to be gas guzzlers period but what you have now would be alright if youre not constantly pulling heavy loads. rebuild kits are like 500 bucks or so for a small block'
