1984 d100 drop spindles

looking into lowering am 84 2wd shortie i just bought my on for his grad . Axle flip in the back with Dakota drop spindles in the front? is this what everyone is doing ? What year of dakota drop spindles should i use ? I ve read 87-90 and 91 -96 are different but yet separate posts show both used. Anyone here have any advice ?

What are others doing? "Not" lowering their trucks. I don't get the whole "lowered" thing.

You can lower your truck both ways: Dakota dropped spindles and axle flip.
. Dodge B vans lower control arms shorter coil springs , axle flip Done boths ways on D150 and D200.
Second method is the cheapest just need to source B vans lca rear springs perches and shorter coils springs.
