1983 Dodge Power steering help.

I tore this truck apart a couple years and am really scratching my head about now? I bought new power steering hoses and the pressure hose doesn't match the gearbox threads, here's the kicker, I have the original hose and it also doesn't fit . My only thought is I'm missing an adapter or something that goes in between.. any help, pictures? This is a 2 wheel drive D250.

I don't think there's any adapters in there. Kinda dark out now for pics, don't have one inside.

Well if there isn't anything in between then this isn't the original hose either lol. I'm pretty sure it is though, almost positive.

The hose end looks right as far as I can remember, but it's been a while.........

Is the return line still on the box? Your not trying to put it in the return are you?

No the bends won't let you put it on upside down (tight between the block and pump).

I already have the return line installed, it wouldn't fit this hole either.

I can check the D350 but I know it uses a different box and line.
