Thanks for the welcome, guys. Happy New Year everybody. I can't believe it's 2013 already. 70DartMike, my trans came from a '78 F-100 or F-150, I can't remember which. It's a cast iron cased Ford Toploader style unit, actually a 3+1 OD but, Ford called it a 4-speed overdrive in their brochures.

Is the tranny a regular 4-speed or a 4-speed overdrive?
