It is starting

Had people on the waiting list most of last year. The six weeks we were on hold last year sure made a mess to of the schedule. Still have people on the list.

Our winter snow advisory ends today at noon

We got snow! 4-6" at least. The roads were passable last night, but I stayed around 40, no need to spin out. I was glad they have rumble strips in the center and on both sides, kept me in the lane as I couldn't see much.

We're actually getting to the point I could tolerate some snow. Going to be a pretty dry spring up here.
I don't mind the snow, it looks pretty. It's the cold I can do without. I'm also glad I have a car that can get through the snow, I hate driving the truck in winter, being from Montana and not a rust bucket I hardly drive it on salt.

No, the snow's not really so bad, but I really prefer it doesn't arrive with 50 mph winds - those drifts get difficult to deal with.

Cut down those trees and it'll keep on blowing past you. Of course the front of the house would be a wedge of snow until spring.

I'm glad I got the '98 running before the snow, but I forgot to top off the power steering fluid before I took it out of the garage. Scared myself I had bigger issues, then I realized I needed fluid. What a pain in the ass to steer! I do so love power steering, I don't have that arm strength or stubbornness to live without it on the truck. Parked next to the garage, which made me think about adding on to store a vehicle out of the elements. Just a cheap covering is all. Maybe make the sides removable for warmer weather.

It was 0 this morning! 3 when I started the car at 6:30, went down to 0 ten miles south. But it did come back up into the teens, and that felt ok. Then the wind killed any comfort remaining.

So you are still having a warm winter in the far north.

Oh yeah, only had 3 sub-zero nights so far, and might not get above zero today - we'll have to wait and see, but it won't be too far in the hole at any rate. No -20's or -30's yet.
If it doesn't will there be people complaining about the bugs next summer?

Snowed this afternoon more coming in the morning is the word.

Bugs are bad if we have a lot of rain in spring, or a ton of snow still on the ground in April, down in southern Minnesota. Up near @Polara_500 I don't think they lose the snow til June. :jawdrop: Maybe not that late, but later than here.

I've heard that we will have a warm winter, and I'm all for it.

Snowed most of the day, some wind, it's starting to drift some. I haven't heard any offical totals, but I don't think we got 4"

Had to open my mouth, didn't I? Only got up to +1 today, headed for -19 tonight.
