Used SEM's bed liner to do the cab floor.

Here's how it sits as of now. I don't have my paint area done so all painting has to be coordinated with the weather (cheap car port set up inside with plastic and all doors open). The bed is all that's left but I had to take some time off from painting to bolt this thing together to make more space. Weather is looking good this week, I'll push to get it painted by the weekend.

I'm blown away at how well this SEM product works, I scrubbed the plastic with a semi aggressive water based cleaner to remove grease and oil then a dish soap bath, rinsed and let dry overnight.. works fantastic!! The upper door panels had some significant sun damage but by the 3rd coat it quit absorbing the paint and came out great.

Progress has temporarily slowed, rebuilding every single component and testing them as I install them is time consuming!

Dad asked for A/C:nutkick:... So now I'm rebuilding an A/C box that I scored from a friend, all new foam kit from Detroit muscle being installed, door foam didn't come with the kit so I'll be making my own repairs there. Digging through wiring to add the needed circuits, cutting holes for the added vents, testing the vacuum pods, installing the A/C ducts:banghead:!!

Thanks

5 star extreme clear and PPG's Omni base, the paint store swore by this clear so I gave it a shot.. really impressed with it.

Coming along... There's still some minor adjustments to be done, bed needs berliner sprayed top and bottom, still need a radiator but otherwise is ready to fire up.

Couldn't find any decent salvage seats so I blasted and repainted his frames then put some new skins on, not to shabby.

For Christmas my brother and I pitched in and bought dad some rims, hating the balloon look we chose 18's vs 16's.

Side by side comparison, much better look!

Also a huge thanks to Joey for fixing the photo uploading problem, loaded these straight from my phone easy peezy! 👍

Need some help, dad asked for A/C so I rounded everything up but have a question regarding the wiring. I robbed and spliced what I needed but can't figure out how it's supposed to be routed. This truck didn't have A/C and the resistor was right in the heater box, this picture shows that the resistor goes in the cowl? How does the wiring route to that point? I thought it would run along the top of the A/C box but in the picture it looks like it comes from a much lower point? Pictures would definitely be helpful.

Thanks

That does not look right. I could swear mine is in the box as with your non ac unit.
The wiring I got definitely has the length to get out to there and there's nowhere in the box for it?

Seems odd that it would be in the cowl, usually it's in the box so the air flow can cool it. It gets quite warm
