It is starting

I haven't seen your square body chevy before, very clean looking truck
Bobs uncle bought that brand new in 73 and when he passed away 10 years ago he left that to Bob, two different people have been bugging Bob that he should sell it to them, he just laughs.

A nice day again, had some rain two days ago, it kept the dust down on the gravel roads I've been driving on.

On Friday I closed on my house, cost a whopping $305.45 for the fees, four or five signatures and I was a homeowner. My coworker cleaned out most of the stuff the previous owner left, but there is still some things to throw away in the house, and more in the garage. Truck is already parked there ready for me to fix it. Feels tiny with all the crap they left.

Congrats on closing, are you moved in or doing some projects first?

On site storage is nice. I need to find some or build some. The Ford developed a transmission problem so no building fund for this month. I think all the parts are here finally to take it apart and put it back together. Then it had to go and rain again. As soon as the mud disappears everything will be put on hold and the truck will get fixed.

Today Bob started on old blue, fix some minor rust spots and small dings,

So, he will be done by Thursday?
Funny you say that, I very much doubt he finishes it at all, he stopped working on it after only 30 minutes, he did some yard work pulled the panel back in the shop watched a movie and drank water all day, I offered him a beer he said no thanks, not sure what to think.

That does sound a bit out of character. Hope all is well.

Beer doesn't work well for hydration. Still have a 6 pack in the refrigerator from last year this time. All most got one out last night and then grabed a bottle of water instead.
I am trying real hard to avoid the hospital stays this year.
Hope Bob is feeling ok.

That doesn't sound right, hope he's okay.

Enjoy your day on this beautiful 4th of July! I'm just putzing around the house, fixing a broken lawn mower so I can finish mowing my field, I mean yard, it's bad! It's in the upper 80's bit nice and cool in the house, I installed an air conditioner in an upstairs window, and now the house is comfortable. I'll see how it is with the two units running, and see if the third can go out in the garage.

The temps have been hot and no end in the near future. 93 today and 90's forecasted for next week. We need some rain, areas of my lawn are smoked.
