Howdy, finally made my way over from FABO and FBBO to learn some stuff (and probably look for parts) as I get started breathing life back into my 85 D150 Royal SE short bed. The transmission took a dump several years back, and it's been waiting in line for time and money.
I picked up a honed and re-ringed 68 318 with 80's heads and an MP Purple Shaft 268 cam from a friend for $250 years back. I put a Cloyes 3 key timing set on it, and advanced it 4°. Using a Performer intake and probably one of my 600 cfm Edelbrocks. Will be using stock manifolds and stock 2 into 1 exhaust for now as the county I live in is tough on emissions bs.
Looking at buying van control arms and doing an axle flip to bring it down a bit.
I would like to learn more about that deal to begin with. Stock 15" wheels with chrome lug nuts and Cooper Cobra 255/70/15's.
The interior needs some love, too, so I will be exploring my options there as well.

Oh yeah, also need to straighten up my cab, as it seems to be leaning on the mounts. It was like that when I got it.

Painting the engine Chrysler Blue, but that's just primer right now.
