It is starting

Weather here has been great. A little humid today, but still nice. Next week in the 70's say's the weatherman.

Six bolt axles off a Dakota? Didn't GM go to IFS when they went to six bolt axles?
Whenever I get to a point of bargaining with the guy over it, I'll press him on the axles. Not too worried whether they're 1/2 ton or 3/4 axles, it's a ramcharger, but if he's gonna make that his selling point then im gonna press him on it (maybe get a fair price out of it). It just so happens to be a 4spd truck lookin for an engine, and Gramps gave me the green light to salvage the 440 from his rv (just be a matter of swapping heads). I only hope I can scrape together the money to get it before winter sets in, eastern OR gets its fair share of snow in early.

Unless the RV 440 has the heavy duty heads with water pump ports I would not mess with the change. A cam change maybe. The engine was designed for heavy loads and fuel mileage was not a consideration.

The crappy hot, humid weather finally broke yesterday. Felt great, then I thought of what cooler weather meant, the clock is ticking. Only so much time to get things done before packing everything away.

Here also. More unneeded rain. Got the hay field down Saturday and three or more inches of rain yesterday. Will be two days before I will have time to turn it.
Its a small patch and may just become compost.

Tornado watch or warning, don't remember, don't care because I'm at work so I probably won't notice the rain, if we actually get it. Just gotten some lighter rain when they've been saying heavy expected.

Morning everyone, our weather is cooling down!

25 more days with little exposure to sun light doctors orders. Guess I need to become a vampire. Have some inside jobs that need to get done. Outside work will just have to wait. I only have one customer complaining. His is just going to have to live with it.
Last trip to the hospital was cutting things to close. It does make one take notice of what important in life.

I can soak a shirt on a mild day anymore. Next couple of days will be humid. Rain predicted for next three days. Still setting in mud and don't need it. Will see what happens. But real hard to plan a work schedule.

Back at the doctor office again to day. Nurse says my temperature is normal. Still feel like crape. Lab work is in process and now the wait. Doctor told me not to leave town. If this doesnt make a lot of sense I am not all here today.

Hope they got you on the mend.

Yes its been over a month now and we are still treating symptoms. I tried working 8 hour days this week and made it to Thursday. I don't need the rain but send me some clouds and 60 degree weather.

It was nice working outside today, 70's I'm guessing, I never looked at a thermometer. Work this weekend, and attack my projects that need to get done. Lots of time spent on cars, Laura's gonna be pissed. Oh well, she will have to deal with it.
