Hello. I am a 68 year old looking to buy my first pickup truck. Right now I am very confused about which one to buy and I am appalled at the price of these rascals. Looking to learn a lot. I don't off-road and do not tow anything so my needs are pretty simple though I do want good appearance, reliability and comfortable ride.

Welcome aboard from NJ. If I was considering a new truck, I think I would be doing a lot of test driving before I drop that kind of bread. From my perspective, it has to please my eyes first and then the rest of me. Maybe you could find something like a low mileage gold lease return with a full warranty on it. That way you can save some serious cabbage but they still are expensive as hell even used.
 
Well the wife wants a new pickup and of course it has to have some comfortable creature features so I anticipate a good layout of money here. She loves the looks of the Ram 1500 but comments that I have read here have me a bit concerned about the reliability of the 2019's. I have a lot of research to do. Thanks for the welcome.
