Did you end up replacing the whole floor or just the front half?

Both front pans and side pcs for the extended part, they don`t make much else for a clubcab so had to make some pcs myself. I made my own floor supports out of bed frames.

Back when I replaced floor supports they were taken from a donner cab.
I like the older manual trans removeable tunnels. Would have been nice if the newer cabs still had them. Converting an automatic cab to four wheel drive or even manual trans would then be as simple as cutting the floor and bolting the new tunnel into place.

This one is an oddball - slant 6 4spd 4wd clubcab shortbed, don`t imagine there were a lot built like that?

Nice truck. Lots of work on those floors. I just did the same task in my club cab a couple weeks ago.

Repairs look great. I really like the club cabs, sharp looking trucks.

Great Job on the floors. Even my southern California d100 has rusty floors.
Any chance you have a pic of the bracket that connects the driver side of the slant to the lower side of the bell housing? Cant find a pic of that combo anywhere.

Are you talking bell housing end or body end?

Hello. I posted a pic here... Slant six Np435 Bell Housing bracket

Slants with either a 904, 833 or NP435 transmission have a triangular bracket that bolts to the lower side of the block and supports the free side of the bell housing by the starter mounting area. The oddball seems to be the truck 435 transmission/ slant combo with the low starter position. The bell will eventually crack without it.

Hmm, I'm not remembering this bracket. I parted a /6 NP435 72 D100 years ago and just don't remember any particular bracket there. I was hoping you had a pic as I may still have some of the parts lying around, (the 435 I know is here, the b/h I sold a couple years back).

I have a link to a pic on the previous post. I can’t imagine that Chrysler engineers thought it would be ok to have the bell housing bear all the weight of the engine, flywheel, clutch, bell housing and the heaviest darn transmission ever.
