16.5's with little tires on my '72 4x4, stock ride height. I have 33" Mud Terrains waiting to go on.

I recently purchased a 79 D400 dually with the original lug centric 16.5 rims. It currently has some ancient dry rotted tires that I’d love to replace. Where did you find 33 mudterrains...or anything that isn’t NOS in 16.5?

it's an '81, but a stepside. Stock wheels, needs bigger tires to fill up the rear fenders.

ProComp mud terrain 33x16.5 were on a truck I bought, and I bought another set from the same guy when he sold the ones off his new truck.

Just went looking, not much made these days for a 33", plenty of larger sizes though.

Tires - 16.5 in. Wheel Diameter - 33 x 12.50-16.50 Tire Size

Looks like I still have a couple options available.

Ohmygawd - I can only imagine what these would sound like on pavement...... Yes I know they're not intended to use there, but still....
