Stop on in for a cup of coffee!

first pot of coffee in the new maker. Nothing special... same model I had before. guess I wore the old one out!

Got my FuFu when we got into Iowa. @toolmanmike I would have looked you up via here or FABO, but as Laura was with, we kept on truckin'. Course I don't know where you live, but I was in your state twice in 8 days.

I had to make my own pot this morning, my kid left it empty when he left for college.

My wife has been after me lately because I leave the grounds in the basket. She has told me to dump them right away after brewing a pot and to leave the lid open so moisture can evaporate. She must have saw something on bacteria growing in your coffee maker, I thought she was full of it until I googled can my coffee maker make me sick.

From what I have read dumping the grounds and leaving the lid open is just the start, they were talking about running vinegar/water mix once a month which I never do, but if you have soft water you can go 3 months. I guess I will have to start to do maintenance on my coffee maker. I hope this helps some of you guy's out

Had to get some FuFu after cleaning the sidewalk and digging out the Charger, forgot I put the road tires back on it for our trip. Not sure if the Blizzak's would have helped any, wet heavy stuff the car is sitting on.

I saw your pic in the other thread, that snow looked wet and heavy. That is the stuff that packs hard and is like your on ice when the tires start to spin. Makes a great snowman though.

I got a big pile, that as a child would've made a hell of a fort.

We are slacking on this thread, 1 1/2 this morn. On Monday a friend stopped in the shop and brought a large French vanilla cappuccino, some day's I am spoiled :D

Had 2 cups this morning as usual. I am glad you refreshed my mind about this there Sporty, I always check back a few frames before posting and noted your entry about cleaning out the pot. I always do it outside because the whole house gets to smelling like vinegar. I usually clean it every few months but it's been too cold out and always snowing or windy as hell. I use the vinegar to clean my hot water coil on the furnace too, usually twice a year. One gallon does both, works well! :)

Had my FuFu after work, manager was tight there so I couldn't top it off with an espresso. Next time.

Spring must be coming, my allergies are starting to act up. I had 2 cups this morning just to get moving.

I had cold cof, I mean iced coffee today around noon. Forgot about it last night and I'm too cheap to dump it out.

I plan on staying in today, strong winds, freezing rain, BRRRR. Sucking on my second cup as I type this.

Too lazy to brew my own, and the plows haven't come through yet. So I drank water today, Ulta decaf if you will.

Just finished a 16 oz. Yesterday it was around 80 degrees here, today 37 and windy with rain or mix of crap! By the way, thanks again for the reminder Sporty; I cleaned the coffee maker yesterday. Should be good now for the next 2 years!
I guess I can now say that I'm full of piss & vinegar today! LOL
