I already own a 1996 Chevrolet Silverado C-1500 5.0 Extended Cab 3 door but my father just passed away and left me a 1984 Ford F-150 5.0 single cab.

I really want to keep my father's truck because of sentimental value but I don't need two trucks. I was thinking about selling my truck and just keep his but I was just about to customize my truck.

My question is which would be a better investment or option for me to put money into to fix up? Would the Ford be worth more in the long run or my Silverado????

Looking for guidance and suggestions.

If anyone wants me to upload pictures just let me know.

I don't need 2 trucks (let alone 1 most days) but I do have 2 and I'm going to keep 2. I have my 98 Dodge Ram 2500 for everyday stuff, towing and hauling. Then I have my 72 which is going to be customized. If you have the space I always encourage hoarding a small fleet! I know space is usually the biggest issue, I'm lucky I have enough. Sentimental value can outweigh all the other factors if it comes down to just one or the other. If only one, you know which one to keep. I hope you can keep both, and have a customized truck to boot!
