We had our annual Giant Days car show here in my little town. Almost 100 cars and trucks, a great turnout on a beautiful day. I didn't even take the Polara, just thought I'd run through and grab a few pics. 5 hours later... Next year it will be there, or something else I drive will. Here's some pics from the show.

Keeping the kids involved. These ones were very well behaved.

Then I got ambushed by these two;

The granddaughters were there with their mom and Grandpa proper. They got to see a bunch of cars and sit behind on he wheel of an early 30's Chevy truck. Owner said he lets the kids do that, keep them interested, tells every kid to tell their parents (when they turn 16) that they want a hot rod. Love it!

Don't care if it's a truck or knot (hahahaha) it's still cool.

These last 2 were owned by brothers, and they are hosting an all Mopar gathering at one of their farms next month. I've been invited, being a Mopar guy, and will report back. Should be a fun time with a bunch of characters.

This Jeep gets used regularly at the farm. The owner asked her husband, before the show, if she should take her pistol out of it. I love living in the country!

That's it for the trucks at the show. A nice variety of makes and models, for the cars and trucks. Still just a smattering of Mopar, but it was quality stuff. A good showing of Ford, and older Chevys showed up. Kind of surprised no late 70's/80's truck were there. Good to see a small town show with a good turnout. They gave away a bunch of freebies and had quite a few, nice looking trophies. It was a nice day, very relaxing mood all day, what summer is all about.
