This is my shop truck. Bought the stock 47 Chevy COE back in 2008. Was a moving co truck in it's heyday. All I used was the cab. Now mounted on a 1990 Chevy 1ton dump truck chassis. I shortened the wheel base to 106 inches. Kicked the frame three inches behind the cab and Superbell 3 inch dropped spindles got the front end down. It is powered by a 1984 Corvette motor (less the crossfire injection) with a Turbo 400 tranny and a set of 4.11's in the 14 bolt rear. Fabricated the bed and used pick up truck fenders that I widened 6 inches and made 4 inches taller to keep the proportions right.

Now that is sweet! Love it, would definitely roll around in that.

I really like the look but I don't think I would fit very well in the old cab, I need more room than they offer to be really comfortable. I would want to stretch the cab length for more leg room.

some one to come along and want that project for themselves . i'll sell them both . i even got a stepside bed for those rear fenders that match that 64 jimmy .
