Tincup's D100

I hear yah , where the same way and there's not a whole lot of room in the cab of a pick-up . We actually have an old black truck tool box in the back for stuff like chairs ,cooler . etc. . I've been on the hunt for an old steamer trunk or an old wood military shipping trunk to put back there to keep everything in . But everyone that I've found is way over priced . If I don't find something , I'm thinking of just making one myself . I'll just have to distress it a little , so it will fit with the look's of the truck it's self . Can't have it new looking . Not with the original paint on the truck it's self .

That hump gets much taller you could pad the back side for the seat back, add some cushion to the bed and forget the chairs. Use the top for beverage and snack tray. The only thing left would be a stand for the umbrella.

Not a bad idea....

That really isn't a bad idea . I think the trick would be making it go with the look of the truck it's self .

With a tuna cover one may not even need the umbrella. Would hide the whole works when closed
I spelled that wrong but I thank you will know what I meant. (Tona not a fish).

The only problem with using a tonneau cover to me , would be making it look right with the patina of the truck it's self .

Don't worry, I have a plan for that.....

If you did go that rout . I'm thinking distressed leather like an old bomber jacket or something like military canvas , maybe tan or green . Am I close ?

Even though your notch looks huge I keep forgetting not everybody uses their trucks to carry max. loads. Just makes it look like the notch portion of the frame would be a weak link where it attaches to the existing frame. Not that yours is, it would be something I would have to get use to.

Personally I think with him boxing everything in like he is it should be strong enough for what he wants . If I was doing this myself , the only thing that might be a little different would be the top part of the C notch . I'd probably put something like a gusset in the inner corners of the top section . Can't wait to see this thing laid down on the ground Tin Cup ! I know there's still a lot of work ahead of you . But do you think you'll have it out this season ?

I doubt it...

Bummer , I'm looking forward to seeing this beast in person one of these days .

That would be cool , I'm always open to meeting other Mopar people . :D Maybe in a couple a few weeks I'll give you a shout after I deal with a couple of few issue's I'm I sorting thru right now .

That's what I'm doing with mine a ram charger tank. Are you going through the bedside or inside the bed? Looking great!
