Lets see your Dodge trucks! Post some Pic's!

You betcha. The one in my avatar is my 80 with a 78 grill n hood, my build thread is an 83 that will have all 78 cosmetics and I have a 3rd one which is an 83 and will end up looking like a 93. They made them up to 85.
lol ! Your as bad as I am . So far my 84 has looked like an 84 then looked like a 92/93 for a few years and now it looks like an 89 . Who knows what's next !

Have a 76 ramcharger that will get a 78 grill too. (See a theme here? lol) Also have a 66 Rambler American convertible sitting in the wayside waiting to get done. It's going to look like an AMC but will be mopar powered. Either getting a healthy 440 or a roller 340. Have an 8 3/4 rear for it with strange axles and wilwood disk brakes. That one will be down the road a bit although the better half wants that one done first. lol

I read a thread about a crew cab on an off road forum that took me 3-4 days to get through, only to find out he had it as bare as possible! No doors, roof cut off, all trailer business. I somehow thought it was going to be a badass street rig! I was a few pages from the end when I found out the forum was for trail riders, etc. Cool build, just not what I'm into.

It's funny, 10-15 years ago I would complain about people building trucks that should drive over mountains but never sees dirt, unless it's their driveway. And here in am gathering parts to build just that, a tar baby. I'm just pissed that I sold a 67 with the stepside box still on it. I should have at least taken the fenders off. Live and learn.

Out of all of them , I like the 77/78 front ends the best . I almost went that way with my 79 but the wife's favorite is the quad light 79 . It's obvious who one that one . lol

Personally I think 4x4's should be up in the air and "look" like a truck . It should look like it means business , climb a mountain , go anywhere , pull anything , go over anything that's dumb to be in it's way , and strike terror to any lil import that it comes across . But that's just lil ole me . :D

My 72 will be capable of all that, it's just that I don't want to clean the suminabich!

That's why I have two things . #1 , A soft brush attached to a 4 foot poll . Kind of like what you see at the self serve car wash . #2 , I put my wife in charge of the cleaning and detailing . :D

That would never work with my girlfriend, ever.
She's got a whole lot more patient's then I do for that stuff . Whenever were getting something ready for a car show , she'll spend a whole day getting whatever where taking cleaned and detailed , right down to using Q-Tips to clean in tight areas . Even around the hard to get spots like valve cover bolts and such . Like I said , I just don't have the patients , so I leave it up to her .

You're a lucky man. My wifes idea of cleaning is driving it through an automatic car wash. lol
lol ! I'll wet sand & buff a car or a truck out if it needs it , but I stop there . From then on , It's all her .

At least she does that!
Do I dare tell you guy's that she helps me with my builds if I need it as well ? And I'm not just saying she pass's me the tools . She knows has more automotive knowledge then a lot of certified mechanic's I've met . She's almost as big a gear head as I am . Just not as sick as I am . lol

Here's a 2wd 80's conversion. Looks good but a lifted 4wd would look much better.
