Should have used Flex Seal ! :D ... Seriously , all nice and quite now ?
 
Until the flex seal melted! Good to go got a plate yesterday a few bugs to work out nothing non drivable, a few beers, some heat in the shop it will be done. Oh the gas milage sucks, got 7 since yesterday but also fooling around with it all day running and the pedal was almost always to the floor trying to figure out the downshift problem, think the linkage is bent to a shorter position, and no it is not flexsealable!
 
Or a good old zip tie! I actually had an 83 Malibu that the rear bumper was held up by zip ties! It was a rare option of a pivoting rear frame section right after the spring mounts. Clever engineering to say the least.
 
Hey Hops try flowtech, I know they have a somewhat universal 2.25" mandrel bent kit for like 125-140 comes with clamps, hangers and misc. hardware, you supply muffler. I just put together a single for my 03 ford ranger 4 banger. It's my run around truck.
 
had to keep the emission stuff since t is a 87. I was looking at them but then I would nee to cat so I just changed the y pipe to keep it stock.
 
I thought since your in centrural PA, maybe they didn't have a tough emissions deal or, maybe you knew a guy who knows a guy, you know what I mean ;)
