Cummins Crew Cab Build

Unfortunately not much progress at all this winter Bear. Just the way it goes sometimes. Did manage to pick up a box for my side project in the fall and started to work on installing patch panels but that hasn't gone too far. We've been too busy at work so can't get it in the shop to work on it. Now that it's starting to warm up hopefully I can start getting at other things. Need to get moving forward on this.

Don't feel bad . With a snow storm every other day here , I haven't done anything to my Warlock either this winter . I'm "finally" starting back on it , this week as a mater of fact . My goal is to have it street worthy by the time the warm weather brakes . A lot to do though .

Yeh you guys had a pretty brutal winter this year. I'm sure the ramcharger got a good work out. That's good you're finally getting time to get back at the Warlock. You'll be itchin to get it on the road and put some miles on it.

Oh ! I am so burnt out over this winter , It isn't even funny . Both me and my Ramcharger took a beating this season . All I can think about now is bringing my Warlock out and having some fun and you bet I'll be putting some miles on it ! More then likely , a quarter mile at a time . lol There's a couple of supposed 10 sec. mustangs running around here that got a spank'in coming to them . lol

I like the way you think. lol

There's nothing like sitting at a light in an ole Dodge truck with all the aero dynamic's of a barn door and have a nice shinny mustang or cheby pull up next to you who "thinks" there fast and then the light go's green and you blow the doors of off them . :biggrin1:

I'd like to say yeh but unfortunately it's no. Life has brought everything pretty much to a grinding halt. The only thing that got some attention this year is my 80 cc. I threw out the old bench seats and swapped in a quad bucket set up i got out of an 03 Town n Country. Died the dash , door panels and consoles to match the buckets. Much more comfortable to drive now.

Hey indy , You "are" going to finish it though , correct ?

Here is a funny story a friend wrote on FABO about just that!

For A Bodies Only Mopar Forum

Good one ! lol But it not just kids all the time . I had a stroked , tubed out pro street Nova pull up on me not to long ago . Coming back from a show with the Warlock . We were sitting at a set of lights on a long secluded stretch of road . When this Nova from the show pulled up next to us . My wife looks at me and say's "Now be nice" lol . I say I know , I know , I'll be nice . I know sooner said that , that the light turned green and he floors it and pulls away from me . In a matter of a second and before either one of us could say anything to each other . My mind said "oh hell no ! " and I launch the warlock out of the hole , tires screaming , truck pulling and it sounded like all hell had broken loose . He had gotten about two or three cars on me at the light but the Warlock went screaming by him with this loud roar from the 440 under my hood . My wife said , all she could see was this scared shocked look on the other guys face as we went by him . I don't think he'll be trying that again anytime soon . lol

Oh yes, it'll be finished. But it might take a bit. I just had a shoulder replacement so i'm out of commission for the winter. Hopefully everything heals up the way it's suppose to in a speedy manor. Driving me nuts not being able to do anything.

Oh man , Sorry to hear that indy . I know what it's like being out of commission . I had an incident with a chain snapping on me and I had to wear braces on both wrist and hands for about a month . I just got them off a lil over a week ago . Hope you feel heal and feel better real soon .

Thanks. ?Good to hear you healed up ok. Breaking chains can do some serious damage.
Can't wait till I can get back at it.

Thanks indy , You just have to be patient and take it slow for a while and you'll be back at it in no time . Oh wait , That's what my wife kept telling me . Oh well , I suppose this time she was right . lol Get well soon buddy ! :)

I just read threw your thread and want to see this one when it's done, love the truck! Some nice craftsmanship going on with this one, great job so far!

Thanks 747mopar. Can't wait to be all mended up and get back to it. You got a great build thread goin on too that I've been following. Should be sweet when it's done.

Hey , It's good to see you back Indy ! How are you doing anyways ? You healing up all right ? You must be going stir crazy not messing with stuff . You and 747mopar should get along good , you both have mad fab and welding skill's ! :D

I'm doin ok. Long slow process. Got to dump the sling this week and I start physio next week.
Sure am itchen to get back at the truck though. Yeh been admiring 747mopar's fab work. Doin some nice work.

Glad to hear your doing better . I know it feels like forever , but hang in there . You'll be back at it in no time . Just when you do get back at it , just don't jump right in with both feet . Take it slow and one day at a time . After that you'll be back to a 100 % before you know it . :)
