My name is Tim Batchelder, I'm 39 years old and my 14 year old daughter and I purchaced a 1948 Dodge Pilothouse B3. I'm hoping to restore it to its original beauty. First time restorer so looking for all the help I can get. Im planning on taking it all the way down to the frame, media blast and bring it back up. Seems like it's hard to find parts for this vintage?

Hello from Minnesota. That's quite the project. It can be a chore to find some things for that era, but you have help in your daughter! If you are keeping the flatbed, it will save some headaches.
 
Welcome to both you and your daughter Tim . Lots of Mopar guys here if you need us . Maybe you might want to think about a build thread on your 48 .
