I have no money to spend on my truck, my Dart and Polara will get my attention for the next who knows how long. What can I do for my 72 Crew Cab in the meantime? I can clean up my triple/double chrome roll bar I got for it! It has some pitting or whatever you want to call it. Looked online and it turns out aluminum foil and water do wonders for it.

By no means is it perfect, but at a $1350 savings, a little elbow grease goes a long way. The roll bar is broke down as much as I could without stripping threads. It will be up and blocked by stacks when installed, so I'm not too concerned. It will be a driver, not a show truck. I'll polish it and put it in storage over the winter, and reassemble next year.

Take small pieces of aluminum foil, dip in water and run over the pitting. Wipe off dirty water and enjoy the shine. Polish or wax and it's good to go.

Good job ! Just don't forget to throw some wax on it before you put it away . Another words , Don't say I'll get to it next week and then forget about it . ..... Like I seem to always do . lol
