Is there anything out there that I can use to replace the rotted boots on my lower ball joints? They are totally gone but the joints are still tight.

Have you tried the Help products line at your local parts house? Or I "think" PST may sell neoprene replacements...

Been awhile since checking the help products but last time I did, didn't see any. Last time I bought boots for another vehicle, I had to disassemble them to fit the boots on. Was hoping to find something where I didn't have to do that.

The only thing I've ever seen like that was a boot you wrapped around the tie rod and zip tied it right. Still a big opening for grease to fall out of. I think it was Moog, might still make them. That was back in the mid 90's.

Yeah, it's been many moons but the CV joint boots on my daughters Charger busted open and I found 2 piece boots for them. Came with glue and zip ties. I may just wrap em with bicycle tube with glue and zip ties. Will probably be better than nothing. Maybe I should just go ahead and rebuild the front end before I'm too feeble :D

Try Prothane, Part number 19-1836. Not sure about the last two digits of the part number - its been awhile. As I remember, boot cover was a little tight but once you torque the nut, I covered the ball joint with no problem. Measure your and compare with the different part numbers.Universal Product Guide Page 2 | Prothane

Hope this helps....
