I am am / was a regular on A Bodies. Joey want to try out the new software, so here is my post. I have a 83 Ramcharger 2WD with a 318/727. I am building a 440 for it and am looking forward to my first big block. I'm doing a budget build and have almost all the parts I need to start putting the motor back together. I still have to get a cam and rings, but it's getting close. Then we'll see which is faster. Who am I kidding? The Dart will walk away from this beast.

MAN ! That's one solid looking Ramcharger ! It should move pretty good with a 440 . Just remember , That's a heavy truck and your going to want a good bottom end cam to get it rolling .

My brother found a listing on Craigslist for the pan, pickup, big block mounts and dipstick tube with dipstick. $50, but in Wisconsin. Fortunately for me, it is one town over from where my sister lives, so she picked it up for me. I'm running out of excuses. I need rings and a cam set up and that's it.
