Craigslist/eBay crackheads

Gee , If he's thinking that's worth $1400 then I wonder what he would want for an OEM one , like the one that's sitting in my loft ? I suppose that would depend on weather he was buying or selling it . lol
 
Got another one for everyone to take note of.....I have some Coronet parts for sale on Craigs list. A guy texted me saying he would buy everything and would send me a check. Got the check VIA FedEx and it was an obvious fake. I took it to my bank to be sure and they just laughed it was sooo fake. Have to watch out, if you manage to cash such a check and it comes back you will be in a hurt.

interesting how banks will sit on it for three four days, and then STIFF you!
It is getting so you have to meet in a parking lot with ARMED friends and demand cash and have your money checking pen with you.

BTW... what year coronet and where are you located? the posting has been removed.

Not such a far out statement these days. The last three or four transactions I've done have been in a parking lot. It's to the point where I don't want any of these crackheads to know where I live and I always have an equalizer by my front seat.


The other latest crackhead trend I see is what I perceive to be kids selling dad's old ride and asking stupid money. I've seen numerous Fifth Aves going for between $8000-$12000.....right......pass the pipe bud.
 
I've had lots of people try to scam me and the one where they send you more than you're asking etc is a classic one. Had one guy send me a check that was so bad that a 6 year old could tell it so I told him he needed to send another that was more convincing and he did! lol

Some guy in Africa is going to give you a check for $6k more than your $1k rolling shell son you can give it to his helper, so he can give it to the shipper. Sure buddy! I'm sure that's how it works every time! Sad part is old people get taken with that approach way too often.
 
I was selling a car last winter and someone tried getting me to sign in to a look alike CL page, only it was spelled craig dlist in the link they sent me. They wanted to trade something for the car. You NEVER have to sign into CL to look at an ad.
