Well the kids are complaining that school year is already about to start, Not me! I am ready for the youngguns to get off the road and back in class :p
I have seen way to many wrecks that was caused by kids driving around enjoying there new/used cars or mom and dad's rides, I have seen 4 wrecks in my school district alone in the last 6 weeks, with two fatalities :(.
now back on track :D I am looking forward to cooler temps and low counts of people at my favorite fishing/camping area's :) I vacation after school starts.
Plan A = go to my near by camp ground with a lake and pitch a tent and do some fishing and stock up on fresh fish, Yes they have WiFi , get some well need time to myself and walk allot and fill my lungs with fresh air before I move forward on my V8 install on my 66 Plymouth Valiant I have been driving for 7 to 8 years with the great old slant 6. Now I can load up the Ramcharger and get out of the rat race ;)

There has got to be someone out there ready to see them get back to school ?

Sorry Mike . The kids are grown and out of the nest and I'm not looking forward to the end of the season because that means that winter is coming on and around here that means the cold weather and lots of snow which means lots of long hours plowing what mother nature has to throw at me .

Let's enjoy what we have left this year bud

Oh believe me Mike , I can relate to everything your looking forward to doing . I'm a country boy at hart . Why I still live here in the city in Massachusetts is beyond me . The best I have is a few trails ( If you want to call them that ) outside of town . Hope you and Buddy enjoy your time together .

Thank you, Yea! I agree. I lived in town for 5 months and never went back, I bought me an old home out of town on gravel the it was paved and people moved out my way after living there 24 years so I moved farther out in the sticks and love it, Buddy and I will enjoy ! You have a groovy day the best you can :)

I guess I'm one of those weird guys. The wife and I decided years ago that we weren't going to have any kids. We were always so involved with our art careers we sort of never figured we had time for them. So it's she, me and our crazy cat (who's the size of a small dog).

What fall does mean for me is my favorite time of year. Cooler weather. Fall colours. We have a trailer up north and that's the time I love the most up there. Plus it's perfect weather to finish things on the cars before they go into storage for the winter.

Well my children are grown and out on there own  I live in an empty home with just my wife of 36 years and my best friend Buddy now for 5 years :D
I am looking forward to spending some good time with my car as I move forward on it (66 Valiant) and enjoy cooking outside now that the temps are dropping :) It was 69 degrees this morning :wideyed: Time to get the cast iron out and do some real cooking :snaphappy:

The only seasons in SE Texas is summer and fall and I'm ready for it to cool off so I can hit my projects hard! :D

I have a step grandchild starting kindergarten and that means more driving for me and the gf. But I like working on the last little things of the season, and finding out what big things I get to do in the spring.

I have a 21 year old grand daughter and a 4 year old grand son....man, I feel old. I guess I am lol. I'm not trucking them to school tho. They come over and get spoiled and then get sent home to mommy to deal with :D
