Ok guys, I remember a series of trucks, ( Dodge) that were used mostly as freight trucks with boxes on the back. I do remember a model of a tractor only, with a 5th wheel. They were based on the Van (A series)?? and were a cab over design. They looked to be mostely 66,67, and mabey 68. They had the big round head lamp. I never saw anything but single cabs. The " Snake" and I think other drag racers had them as car haulers. So here is the queston, What were they, has anybody seen one .....Lately..... I have this late model 78 motor home I bought , planning to take out the motor and trans. Its low miles 47,000 and had a propane leak and blew the body apart. How cool would it be to find one of those and transplant the motor/ trany or the cab onto my chassis. Its a majorly heave john deere frame with a Mopar power train. I even have the shifter that mounted on the dash. Its a long term project so no big rush . I would like make a old time hauler for the altered w/base 64 Dart a/fx tribute Im building. THNX.

Ok, a bit more info. I found the model kits. The only kits listed were for 1969 year, and was a L 700. I dont know any more then that. They were all Lindburg 73067 kits.

May not be quite what you are looking for but do a Google search for Dodge Dreamliner and see if it peaks an intrest.

" Wow went there to look, they sure are nice Thats not what I was thinking, but thanks for the tip. Some how I wound up on another site that had aaaaaalot of Mopar wagons. My 2nd car was a "69" Coronet wagon my dad handed down. Had a sh..t load of fun with that thing. Had black curtins and torque thrust Ds. A craig pioneer floor mount, dual pipes and blue walker glasspacks. I fricken loved that car. 383 w/ 727. I put 2 stripes on it in black w/ lace pannels in the center. If we could only go back ??? Wouldnt that be a good queston for the forum. If you could go back and get 1 car from your past and why?

That would be a 66 Plymouth Belvedere II. Was my first Mopar really liked that car but with over 400,000 on the od was just plain wore out. Still have some parts of it just in case I find another one some day I can afford.

I think I allways tried to save a part of every car I owned Cant tell u where half of it is now. The move from Indiana to Tucson ,I lost a lot.

Hello from Minnesota. My 68 Charger R/T I was never going to get to. I'd like to see an L-700 in any configuration, they're just cool.

I remember them, There was this 3 state(Ill., Ind., Mic.) delevery company that had a fleet 20?? or more. They were short lived. Dodge never did good in the light duty fleet market. As C.O.E. s go they were one of the last to get in. I am also in "Goodguys" and see a lot of bowties and blue oval 40s-50s C.O E. s modified to fit latter model chassis. I wanted to do a Mopar as that is what Im invested in. I will wait and possably, find one. I had thought about getting a van and makeing one , but thats a lot of work. Thanks for the chat, I think its one of the toughest dodge trucks ever put on the market. Not only in looks but actions also!!

Ya know there are a lot of really quick Mopars out there, but the Charger, always had my heart. I can still remember the day I went to the local Dodge dealer and saw my first 66. It just looked like a mighty battle ship. It was silver w/ white int. Man o man!! Never had a Charger, but allways wanted one. I am building a 64 Dart gt for my son, hes 6, but if I run across a 66, that Darts gone faster then yersterdays coffie!!
