I would like to ask everyone to ask questions and make comments about the new software. I will be happy to answer questions and it will also help me make a FAQ for new members.

Your help is most appreciated.

Please post your questions / comments below.

Looks good so far. Will test a little bit more within the next few days.

Made a couple posts. So far so good. Not too much different than vbulletin boards like FABO. Not much to relearn.

Guess I should have put this comment here but......really like this new software. I'm thinking the transition at FFMJO will be fairly painless.

I like the sort options for the threads and classifieds. Do all ads expire after seven days? Do they go completely off the site after expiration, or do they stay on the site like they do in FABO?

No, they stay on the site but get closed automatically after 7 days. The poster has the ability to renew though. All depends on how I set these things.

I really like the new software. I can't wait for its implementation of FABO and FEBO.

Looks good to me.....just something else to have to learn for an old dog lol

Hi Joey

I did some mobile web navigation and posting- very smooth and no app required! I did try to upload a photo(mobile) and now even cell phone pics are too high resolution to be uploaded directly. Is there an option to degrade/convert photos on upload available? I am sure like many I do not want to turn down my settings on my phone but want to be able to easily use phone photos.

Hmm -- I just uploaded those from my iphone 5 ----

I can't find the resolution specs, but my Droid Turbo has a 21mp camera, iphone 5 has a 8mp camera - I guess its just a freak!

lol ---- Personally I would lower the resolution. No website is going to display a 21mb photo and they are just going to eat storage space on your phone. You have to realize, of you to post a 21mb photo, everyone that views the thread would have to download that 21mb to see the thread. That'll take awhile on a phone for example, not to mention chew up your data.

All that said, I'm looking into image reducer as we speak.
