Did you check summit? http://www.summitracing.com/search/year/1979/make/dodge/model/d150/department/exhaust. Should be able to find a good selection there. Headers are vehicle specific so your Challenger headers may not fit correctly.
I wounder if the newer 8.25 disc setups have the 5.5 bolt pattern. I know the 8.25 continued to be made into the early 2000's. Cosmetically they look similiar but I know the internals changed in the late 80's.
Do you have any pics?
-Try looking on the passanger side near where the door would have been for the VIN.
-The part number on the transmission should be able to tell you what it is.
-The engine size is located in one of two locations, a sill plate on the top front side near the driver's side...
I might be purchasing an 83' utiline, so my 87 might be up for grabs......
I'm interested in how much I should ask for it. The truck runs great, everything works except the AC and the cruise control. It has power everything!
