After I had the throttle body cleaned and had the old battery replaced, it starts and runs almost as new. :)

Thanks 97, the battery is weak I'll replace it to begin with. Maybe continue with the idle air motor.

Had the throttle body cleaned, it did get better. Now it doesn't die at idle when warmed up for a minute, but hard to start when cold without giving it a little throttle. It's almost as it is flooded, kind of rough at idle the first half minute or so.

I'd like to see photos of lifted Dakota. Haven't decided yet if I want the Dak slammed or lifted. Hope for many photos. Thanks guys

Man this forum section is really slow, where is everyone ?????

I'm at ForAbodies most of the time. Have the Dak for daily use. Want to have it built, but haven't got the funds right now. Not sure of if I want lowered or raised anyway, will see

I'm not sure, I have a lambda reader from Innovate Motorsports Lm2 reader to whom I bought a additional cabel to plug in to the OBD socket. Have to study the manual first. Thanks

No codes detected. Could a weak battery cause a symptom like this? Thanks guys

Thanks guys. It's a -98. I'll plug in a OBD- reader to see if it will show up any codes.

The Dak is sometimes hard to stay at idle. Most of the time it just dies when I remove the foot from the pedal. Have any of You guys experienced the same with your trucks/cars? Any help apprecited Lenny
