General Information

My truck is for sale and can be seen at nbsauto.com. The engine runs awesome on this pickup! The engine had been freshly rebuilt before I purchased it. The bed is off of the truck, but comes with all Bed parts, sides, tailgate and new hardware for installation. It also comes with all of the stock 15” rims and baldy caps and beauty rings if your are not into the newly yellow powder coated wires wheels. The wires are a set of (6) with (4) shinnies and the back 10” wide Vintage True Spokes with new original True Spoke caps. The front and back tires have tubs with brand new Mickey Thompson shinnies on the front while the rear is running original 1960’s vintage ‘Grandpre’ 10” wide 900X15’s. There is even a pair of new round 1960’s vintage ‘peep’ mirrors to hang from the top of the doors along with the Yellow Dice for the rear view mirror.
This is a sweet Truck with its original 241 V8 engine being rebuilt and has a 2-barrel carburetor and single exhaust. Reportedly the previous owner has dual exhaust on it and can easily be converted back. It runs awesome, but the heads have ‘gnarled valve guides rather than smooth ones, and as a result, the oil get passed so it smokes a bit. Consequently the gas still requires a lead additive and the truck comes with a partially used bottle of additive. I would suggests replacing the guides, or in the process, just rebuilding the heads to allow for unleaded gas. The rear brakes were freshly done by me last year.
