I am looking for the black and stainless lower trim on many 81-87 Dodge trucks and Ramchargers.
I need the piece on the drivers side bed that runs from the front edge of the bed to the wheel well. It measures 24" across the top edge which is the longest measurement due to the miter for the wheel well. I will take a longer one if needed and trim to fit.I only need the one at this time but will take more for future extras depending upon cost. I also will take the clips if in good condition.

I figured since they are nylon/plastic or whatever, they don't need to be lubed but they do go on easier with the use of WD-40. Am I doing something wrong here? The pins they fit over look ok to me....

Just got done putting new plugs, wires and one new coil on my 03 Ram.
Man getting to the spark plugs under the brake booster is quit a chore.
Sure glad my son-in-law was helping me.
I let him do the driver side. ;)
I bought a special socket from NAPA for doing the plugs, glad I did it made it a lot easier.
I don't think the plugs had ever been changed in it, it has 99400 miles on it. Guess it was ready for some loving!

Took about two hours total. Changed the plug boots on the coils too.
Now I'll see if maybe it will get a little better gas mileage.
I do a lot of freeway driving everyday for work and it's averaging 13.7mpg now.

I will be picking up an 84 Ram 1/2 ton 2wd with a prospector package. What exactly is that. I've been looking around and from what I can figure out, just adds a few badges.

Also, did they ever put limited slip in the 9.25's. I was looking for a 4wd but they are usually high mileage, rust buckets or lots of money. This ram has a good body, 110000 miles on a 318. A friends grand father bought it new, gave it to my buddy who just hates trucks...and Dodge.

Anyone knowing where a limited slip 9.25 is let me know.

Also, i have a 518 trans from a 1 ton 1990 van. Do all i need to do is swap mounts?

Pics will follow.

Hi all, new to here but have been on FABO, FBBO, FEBO, and FCBO for quite some time. I have been looking high and low for a Dodge Ramp truck. I have decided to build my own. So my quest has changed directions to finding a nice D300 dually crew cab or regular cab to start with. I would like one that is 75 or older due to smog restrictions in my state. If anyone has one or knows about one for sale I would appreciate you dropping me a line. Thanks.

Hello All,
I found these recently and I thought I would post them up so you could grab them off the shelves before they are gone.
This first one is a Lil Red Express, it is a new casting from Hotwheels and can be found at Target, Walmart & Toys R Us or anywhere else that sells Hotwheels. It is very nicely done.
<a href="http://www.fortrucksonly.com/truckforum/attachment.php?attachmentid=1244&d=1335671127" title="Name: h11374C.jpg
This next one is also 64th scale and made by Greenlight Collectibles. I have only found it at Toys R Us. It is a nicely done 65 Dodge pickup. It does come with an extra set of wheels and tires in case you do not like the ones that come on it.

If you all enjoy this type of information, let me know and I will post them as I find them so everyone can get them before they are gone. Enjoy!

Hello all,
I have a 1994 Dakota 3.9 extended cab.
I wonder if anyone has experienced a wierd issue with head lights just going out. Sometimes you can turn them on and off several times and they will come back on. It is very random. Some of my gauges will not function as well. And not sure if it is related, but my radio seems possessed as well. Sometimes it works when I start up, sometimes it doesn't.
I think I am looking at two different issues, but not sure.
Any ideas would be welcomed....
Thank You,
Mark

Problem solved. It's a bit more complicated than the procedure Joey detailed (at least with a Snap-on scanner) but not ridiculous if you know which menu to follow. The connection for the scanner is under the hood. It's an "L" shaped connector on a pigtail. You have to plug in the scan tool, power up the scan tool, turn the key to the "on" position, and then thumb through several menus to find the one that has the "reset maintainence light" heading. Reseting the trouble codes won't do it.....it's on a separate menu. Thanks everyone, Mark

(I hate to scrap something someone wants)
I have the standard transmission, pedals, steering column, transfer case, bellhousing (for 318) and some of the clutch linkage. The truck has a 354 Dana 44 in the front with lockout hubs, but with drum brakes. You would have to pick it up in Savannah, GA or, if you weren't in a huge hurry, I could deliver to Chryslers at Carlisle in July. Please PM with needs.
